An Interactive Simulation
March 14-21, 2022

Background

On February 24, Russia initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine by land, sea, and air.

It was the biggest attack by one state against another in Europe since World War II and a confirmation of the West's worst fears.

As the situation was unfolding, the Alexander Hamilton Society (AHS) and Wikistrat ran an online simulation from March 14 to 23.

In this, 60 participants, who include AHS alumni and Wikistrat experts, were asked to analyze how a potential escalation scenario could develop and impact the security environment in Europe.

2 Dynamic Strategic Scenarios. 6 Players.

The simulation explored how six different actors would be impacted by and respond to the new security environment resulting from the Russian invasion and the potential occupation of Ukraine.
